Self Empowerment through Martial Arts 360 What a night!
We gathered a fierce little crew of wonderful women for an introduction to martial arts at the powerhouse that is Martial Arts 360 in Ulverstone. The incredible Tracey and her team of strong, skilled, and seriously impressive women welcomed us with such care and encouragement, guiding us through techniques that left us feeling powerful, confident, and just a little bit dangerous (in the best way possible).
Whether it was the shared laughs while learning how to take down a person double our size with what started out a kinda like a cuddle, or the giggles that came with our clumsy efforts to do a back roundhouse kick!! There’s no doubt we all left feeling a little taller.
And I don’t know about the rest of them, but I (Claire) can say for sure, I felt the workout. My arms and legs were burning for a good day or two!
There was a perfect mix of long-time Ignite sisters, fresh faces, and brand-new members in the room and the buzz was undeniable
Tracey’s generosity didn’t stop there, she has kindly offered three free classes not just for the women who came along on the night, but to our entire member group.
What a gift! We’re so grateful for her spirit of empowerment and the way she champions women finding their strength, physically and mentally.
A shoutout to Erica for putting together a delicious grazing box, and of course, it wouldn’t be an Ignite night without a few cute little lucky door prizes….because every warrior deserves a treat.
Thank you to everyone who came along. You were brave, brilliant, and bold. Here’s to more events that fill our cups, fuel our fire, and maybe help us survive the school holidays with a well-aimed side step and a calm, confident “I’ve got this.”
