What Ignite is about
As adults, connection doesn’t always happen by accident. Life gets busy, priorities shift, and social circles change, even when meaningful connection is something we still deeply value.
Ignite exists to make space for that connection again, through shared experiences and time spent together.

At its heart, Ignite is a women’s community built around regular events held across North West Tasmania.

​These events create opportunities for women to meet, connect, and build friendships over time, without pressure or expectation.
It’s not about networking, personal development, or fixing yourself. It’s about genuine connection, conversation, and enjoyment, in a way that fits into real life.

Ignite is intentionally relaxed and inclusive. There’s no need to arrive with a ready-made social circle and no pressure to be outgoing or confident. Many women come along on their own and are met with warmth and openness.
Over time, faces become familiar, conversations flow more easily, and friendships form naturally, at their own pace.​

Our Events
Ignite events are designed to be enjoyable, engaging, and easy to join. Each event is centred around an activity or experience, led by facilitators who bring something interesting, creative, or hands-on to the group.

Events are thoughtfully curated and hosted with care, so women can focus on taking part, meeting others, and enjoying the experience, rather than wondering where they fit.
You’re free to take part in the way that feels right for you.
Membership
Ignite Women Tasmania is a membership-based community. Membership provides access to events, priority bookings, and the opportunity to be part of a growing statewide network of women who value connection and belonging.

There’s no expectation to attend everything and no pressure to show up in a certain way.
Membership simply gives you the option to be part of something, and to join in when it feels right.
