A magical Sunday afternoon at Prickly Mo

What an incredible afternoon we had with our Ignite family at the gorgeous Prickly Mo. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was warm, cosy and inviting. With delicious share platters on the table, a glass of wine in hand, and the rustic charm of Prickly Mo as our backdrop, it was the perfect setting for connection, laughter and genuine conversation.

One of the most beautiful parts of the afternoon was seeing both familiar faces and brand new ones come together. For some members, it was reconnecting with friends they’d met at past events, and for others, it was their very first Ignite gathering. What made it even more special was watching those who hadn’t met before quickly spark conversations, not just through attending, but thanks to our “speed connection” game. This fun twist on speed dating encouraged everyone to rotate around, ask lighthearted, thought provoking questions and connect beyond the small talk. The room was filled with energy, laughter, and those “oh wow, me too!” moments that remind us just how powerful connection really is.

Of course, we can’t forget the lucky door prizes, our mother + daughter duo both walked away with matching prizes (and no, it really wasn’t rigged!).

This afternoon also marked our first official event with our new committee members (myself included!) and it was such a joy to kick things off surrounded by such an inspiring group of women. To the 24 members who joined us, thank you. You’re the heart of this community and you made the afternoon so special 🧡
